Der Simonian Consulting is a locally owned and operated Marketing & Communications consulting firm founded by Waterville native, Raffi Der Simonian. Der Simonian holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Professional Communication and Marketing from Clark University in Worcester Massachusetts.
Der Simonian has worked both nationally and internationally on a diversity of arts development related projects and has proven experience in the field of performance marketing.
In May of 2007, Der Simonian was presented an award by the International YMCA Committee in recognition of the leadership demonstrated in organizing and marketing ‘Classical Music Under the Stars’ to the Greater Providence arts community in conjunction with Brown University. Der Simonian has worked at one of the world’s largest cultural arts centers promoting classical, ballet and other live-art forms for the Royal Festival Hall in London.
Upon completion of graduate school, Der Simonian worked as the Marketing Projects Coordinator for the Providence Performing Arts Center, a beautifully restored 3,200 seat performing arts venue featuring touring Broadway theatricals, contemporary classics and dance. Der Simonian also worked as the eCommerce Marketing Executive for the UK based international travel company, Orient-Express Hotels, Trains and Cruises.
Der Simonian is an active member of this community and works with Waterville Main Street, the Boys & Girls Club/YMCA and the Waterville Opera House. Today, Der Simonian Consulting facilitates the development, implementation and realization of creative marketing & communications solutions for a diverse range of clients.
